AlphaValue has conducted this study to highlight the main challenges and opportunities faced by the 5G initiators, ahead of a global adoption cycle.

Key findings:

-5G will bring about a real disruption in the economy as a whole (in the long run) and most of the added value will be captured by service providers, facilitated by this particular technology

-It is still too early in the cycle to judge network vendors, but they will obviously benefit from equipment needs

-Satellites operators will also have a role to play, but the problems inherent to space actors may prevail.
