ThyssenKrupp

Note: This is a daily stock update and the information stands true as of 06/12/24, 09:00 CET.

Company Update:
CFO Dr. Jens Schulte decided to leave ThyssenKrupp to join Deutsche Boerse as the company new CFO. He Is  also supposed to be the acting as CHRO, which is a key position at the time of restructuring. Timing of the move is still unclear and probably being discussed.
In all, the plot is thickening at ThyssenKrupp at a time when decisions regarding Steel Europe must be made.

Expert Opinion:
There is no way to read that as good news, or even to spin it neutrally. The decision by the CFO to jump ship in the middle of the storm says a lot about what he thinks of the future of the company. The CEO Mr. Lopez has an increasingly difficult task to achieve. I see no reason to buy ThyssenKrupp for the time being.
